As an ordained interfaith, interspiritual minister and former hospice chaplain, I facilitate personalized, meaningful ceremonies in honor of significant life transitions. I work with weddings, funerals, baby/mother blessings, nontraditional bar mitzvahs and other coming-of-age ceremonies, divorce rituals, and other personal ceremonies to honor times of letting go, grief, new beginnings, and change. We start with a consultation and then co-create what’s needed from there. I officiate both in-person and virtual ceremonies for people from diverse backgrounds. I’ve facilitated events that are multi-faith, non-religious/secular, and personal spirituality-oriented, depending on the values, beliefs, and heart connection of the people involved. I also design and facilitate ritual for groups to honor changes, such as a midlife transition ceremony, community healing retreat, or a grieving circle. Please contact me for an initial phone consultation. Fees vary. Once I understand your needs and the work involved, I’ll provide different options on a sliding scale.

“My mother’s wedding was so special and having Julia as the officiant made it even more special. Her peaceful and calm demeanor was needed by some of us and truly set the tone for the wedding. The ceremony was so beautiful and simple. Everything from the children’s major role to the readings to Julia’s address was endearing. I thank her from the bottom of my heart for her patience and kindness towards our family.”
“This coming of age ceremony was fantastic, and soulful, and moving and fully unique. It was so true to their values. I was happy to be a part of it.”
“I am so moved by Julia’s insight, compassion, and sense of balance. She respects different perspectives and works with people where they most need it. She is an amazing asset to the community.”
